You have another level - Let's find it

“The potential for Greatness lives within each of us.”
- Wilma Rudolph

As a child, Wilma Rudolph was stricken with polio and other serious illnesses. She was told that she would never walk again. Amazingly, she eventually became the first American woman to win 3 Olympic gold medals in track and field.  She was a role model for other athletes and is regarded as a civil and women's rights pioneer.

I love her quote on the greatness within each of us. Most of us never have to face the hardships she faced, nor will we likely accomplish what she accomplished. However, we each have our own unique personal journeys, sets of challenges, aspirations, successes, and failures. And as her quote suggests, we each have the potential to reach levels beyond what we likely ever imagined.

For me, I never imagined that I would be able to have such a meaningful impact on so many people in the work place by inspiring them to become great leaders and communicators. I have seen firsthand how we are all capable of accomplishing much more than we ever thought possible. This has been one of my life’s greatest joys.
